The more layers sewn together at any one place = longer drying time.Arfyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13259584291946712495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158820338690853168.post-53295645363118770892015-04-30T15:36:59.065-07:002015-04-30T15:36:59.065-07:00And what I mean by sewing it in is doing something...And what I mean by sewing it in is doing something like the soaker that you sewed on the petite os fitted that you made from your snap in soaker pattern.koalahugshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00321002236841378222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158820338690853168.post-10138048277102936902015-04-30T15:33:36.821-07:002015-04-30T15:33:36.821-07:00I made your fold in fitted and love it! Is there any reason that I should not sew the soaker to the diaper? Is snapping it in better? For T&T soakers, I have a tutorial that describes how I make them. If your soaker is 4 layers, sew an inside layer to an outside layer that is cut about 1/4"+ bigger all around, and do that twice. Then just sew your two outside layers together with the insides facing apart, so when you turn them through the turning hole, the middle layers are inside the little pillowcase/pocket. Then close up your turning hole and top-stitch around the whole thing. :) http://prefold2fitted.blogspot.com/2012/11/non-serged-insert-or-absorbent-soaker.html<br />You don't have to use a zig-zag for the inside either. You can use a straight-stitch on most fabrics just fine.Arfyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13259584291946712495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158820338690853168.post-37434961283514056212013-06-19T13:54:21.954-07:002013-06-19T13:54:21.954-07:00Is there a trick to prevent the snap in soakers fr...Is there a trick to prevent the snap in soakers from bunching in the center (between the legs)? Mine are T&T because I do not have a serger. CuriousTomatohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13038019198011201707noreply@blogger.com
